Hard point for faster deeper cuts. Great for general and end-of-season pruning; cuts 1" to 4" branches. Tooth design features a shortened "set" tooth every third position which broadens the cut to help prevent sticking and allows the other teeth to cut deeper and faster. Very aggressive on the pull stroke for strength and control. Long lasting hard point teeth stay sharp four times longer than fileable blades. 7 1/2" locking blade is replaceable and locks open and closed.The Bahco folding pruning saw is a professional grade 7-1/2-inch saw featuring a patented unset tooth configuration designed specifically for making fine cuts on soft or green wood, as well as aggressive hardened teeth powerful enough to cut quickly through hard or dry wood. The Bahco 7 1/2" folding pruning saw has very sharp teeth -- will glide through virtually any type of wood. It makes cutting hardened, dead wood particularly easy.

Handy dandy
It is compact and cuts green wood fast. I like it a lot. The only problem I have is that it is not easy to get the blade to fold back into the handle. The blade always hits the handle and I have to guide it into its slot.

It cuts through all types of wood, dead, green, hard &soft very fast and easily. Terrific for pruning and great for campers collecting wood for camp fires.
