Blower Power Is Surprising!
From her husband - I have an Echo gas blower which is very powerful that I normally use in the yard. My wife wanted a lightweight blower for the sidewalks and pool deck that she could use, so we ordered the 24 volt Worx blower. Being a gas aficionado, I didn't expect too much, but was I surprised! While it might not blow heavy wet leaves off the grass well, it does everything else a homeowner could want and it is light (a little over 3 lbs.), due to the Li-ion battery. My wife loves it! Our garage faces north and when it is windy, a lot of leaves and trash blow into the garage whenever the door is opened. It is excellent for blowing out the garage without stirring up an excess amount of debris and leaving fumes as a gas blower would do. After edging, I tried it out by using it to blow off all the trimmings from the curb, sidewalk, pool deck, driveway, street, etc - at least 25 minutes on a half-acre corner lot - it did well and the battery was still going strong. First time WORX
It's my first WORX, bought refurbished one, not on Amazon. Really happy!
I had Black&Decker cordless 24V and hated it. Just junk, never lasted even 5 minutes and was very weak.
This unit takes fast charge, less than an hour. And is working exactly 15 minutes.
Strong enough to blow, but does not blow my marble chips though.
Light in weight, comfortable, strong.
Simply - just love it! Great value!
20 MINUTE WONDER
If you are looking for a leaf blower to give you 20 minutes of good power, this is the choice for you. The blower is lightweight and efficient at blowing live oak leaves, which are small but relatively heavy, off of a paved surface. However, it is a bit like my 11 year old, 3 legged dog Buddy. He is a great dog, and very enthusiastic at the start of the walk, but when he wears out, he is done, and doesn't want to go any farther. We plan our walks accordingly. This leaf blower is like that. Plan what you want done in 20 minutes, and you will be happy. If you want to work longer, buy a corded blower.
